STRAIGHT SUPERIOR RATINGS! The E.C. Glass Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band each received the highest possible recognition at the 2012 Concert Assessments held at Lynchburg College, March 8-10. Each group received straight superior ratings. Congratulations to the band members on a job well done!

TECH WEEK, JULY 25-29
ALL MEMBERS

9AM-4PM (with a lunch break from 12-1:15. Students should bring a lunch (STRONGLY RECOMMENDED), or $ to eat on your own at McDonalds.) Students will be supervised at the lunch hour and will be required to remain on the band hall. The lunch hour is a relatively quiet hour during camps.

What to Bring to Tech Week and Band Camps?
• Large Water cooler (1 gal) with your name on it.
• Money for shoes and gloves ($30/shoes and $4/gloves). Some used shoes are available for a much lower cost.
• A Lunch (or $)
• Cool, sun-smart clothing!
• Athletic Shoes for outside; flip flops for inside.
• Sunscreen
• Please arrive at least 10 minutes early for every rehearsal so that we can stay on time.
• Band Fee payment #2 is due Aug 1. Remember that payment #1 of $75 (plus equipment fees of $25) were due in May.
• Field Trip Form and Med forms are due now...Please turn those in if you haven’t already.
• $15 for the DCI trip.
• Times for Aug 1-5 and Aug 8-12 are 8am-12, and 1:15-6pm.
